Ozzy Osbourne does it once again, adding another heavy rock album to a growing list of classic Ozzy albums. “Scream” Ozzy’s newest album shines through the heavy metal dust that he has collected over the last few years.
With a new guitarist Gus G, Ozzy adds another guitar master to the Ozzy worthy ranks. Gus G debuts his guitar magic on Scream, much like Ozzy’s past guitarists.
Here is the list of classic Ozzy albums, with their respect guitar heroes. Although Ozzy has some albums that lack the heavy metal anthems, he does come back with a classic every few years, and with a new guitar hero.
Blizzard of Oz (Randy Rhoads)
Diary of a Madman (Randy Rhoads)
Bark at the Moon (Jake E. Lee)
No More Tears (Zakk Wylde)
Scream (Gus G)
Gus G has been compared to Randy Rhoads by some critics, and the album Scream does prove it, and gives Gus G (Blizzard of Oz) kind of debut, like Randy had done. Although Randy is still by far the favorite of all Ozzy’s guitarists, Gus G might be the equivalent, but on his own terms, time will tell.
Some of the songs on “Scream” that makes Gus G shine are, Let it Die, Soul Sucker, Life Won’t Wait, Crucify, Diggin’ Me Down, and Time.
Ozzy has once again reclaimed his title as “Prince of Darkness”; the album is pure Ozzy at his best, and Ozzy the only way we want to know him. All the songs on the album are pure metal madness.
